I am a passionate musician who discovered my love for the piano at a young age. Despite growing up in a family that was not particularly musically inclined, at the age of 5, I found myself drawn to the piano my mother had in our home. Without any formal training, I began learning songs by ear, inspired by the tunes I heard on the radio.

In the third grade, I showcased my budding piano skills by performing a rendition of "Let it be" at a talent show. Recognizing my genuine interest and commitment to the instrument, my mother decided to enroll me in piano lessons at the age of 10. I have had a tremendous passion for drums and percussion since the age of 12. As a young boy growing up in Colorado, I had a thirst to hone my skills and perform anywhere I had the opportunity.

My passion for drums led me to study with a local instructor, Marc Johnson, who introduced me to jazz and many other genres of music in addition to rock and pop. He was instrumental in expanding my knowledge and appreciation for music. Click here to read more!

From as early as I can remember, I have always had a passion for music. When I was 8 years old, my mom gifted me a light-up piano and I was instantly attached! I loved that music allowed me to be creative and expressive because there are limitless possibilities. This is a really important part of making music that I instill in each of my students. Music is more than just learning notes and performing them correctly, it’s a form of therapy! I work with each of my students to find what excites them about music so I can inspire them to share their gift with the world.

I have always been blessed to learn music under so many influential mentors in my life. From my first private lesson instructor, to my own brother, to eventually my high school orchestra director, I have continuously been inspired to pursue my love for music.

I first fell in love with music around the age of 6 when my parents enrolled me in piano lessons. I was so lucky to have an instructor that worked to spark my love for learning and find significant ways of engaging me in each lesson. Click here to read more!

Growing up in the Ukraine I began studying violin and piano at the age of 7. My first violin teacher was very passionate and cared greatly for his students and wanted them to reach their potential.

I have studied classical violin for 17 years and have over 32 years experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels.
