Meet our INCREDIBLE FRISCO MUSIC TEACHERS

+ Brandon Keaton, Guitar & Bass

From the moment I heard Metallica’s classic ‘Fade to Black’ at age 15, I was instantly mesmorized by the song structure. It was just so different and I loved it. This interest launched me into my lifelong passion and pursuit of the guitar and bass. My brother also had a desire to learn the guitar and suggested that we both start taking lessons from a neighbor who had a music degree from UCLA.

My mom took my brother and I to the local music store and told us we could pick out any guitar we wanted. This was a sacrifice for her, but she saw the spark in us and wanted to fan those flames.

+ Michael Duenas, Piano

Hello! I’m Michael, and I have been passionate about music ever since I started playing piano over 12 years ago. My journey began in a unique way, when my grandpa found an abandoned keyboard and brought it home. What started as a fun challenge quickly grew into a lifelong love for piano. I was so inspired by hearing Beethoven’s "Für Elise" that I taught myself how to play it, and from there, my passion only grew.

+ Sam Casares, Drums

Hello! I'm Sam, and I have been passionate about music and drumming for as long as I can remember. My journey with the drums began at a very young age, thanks to my dad, who introduced me to this incredible instrument when I was just a toddler. From that moment on, my love for drumming has only grown stronger. Over the years, I have been fortunate to play in a variety of settings, including drum lines, all-region jazz bands, musicals, concert bands, and orchestral ensembles. These experiences have not only deepened my love for music but also provided me with a diverse range of skills and knowledge that I am eager to share with others.

+ Hannah Parker, Voice

"Hi, I’m Faith, and I’ve had a passion for music since I was 8 years old, with a love for singing that blossomed around age 10. I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in music, and my journey has been shaped by incredible mentors, especially Mrs. Amy Guevara, who taught me how to believe in my own talent and build confidence in my voice.

I can’t wait to work with you and help you find your unique voice!"
